Hello, I had recently replaced my Radio / CD Player. I am running into an issue ... the HFL is not being recognized. It displays the Signal Strength and the Batter on the main display, however when I go to press the HFL buttion on the steering wheel, all it displays is "Main Menu" in the smaller display, and doesn't even say "Say a Command" how can i go about resetting this? What's the work around?

 

Pull the neg. cable for 10 mins, be sure you have all codes ready

 

would you say this is a problem with the radio? or it's just a matter or resetting it? and also, i see the car is attempting to connect to the phone and when i enter the pass code (0000) on the phone, it says unable to connect and shows as "pair" on the small display ....

 

didnt work ...

Update: when i press the "talk" button on the steering wheel, it goes to main menu *remember: the CD keeps playing* and i see Main Menu on the display, if i say phone book, it will recognize it and display phone book .... what do i doo

 

if all else fails take it back to the dealer there was a service issue about the hfl, hopefully you're still under warranty because its expensive to replace.
