HFL Locks Up

I recently purchased a 2004 TL with navigation and it has 70,000 miles -- out of warranty. Discovered it has a bad HFL module -- also verified by local Acura dealer. My HFL problem is related to Service Bulletin 05-020.
I am trying to find a replacement for the HFL module but Acura parts list the 2004 module as being discontinued (P/N 39770-SEP-A01ZA). Probably because the unit was replaced by a kit as described in the SB with P/N 04397-SEP-305ZA. Have not been able to find this kit on any online stores but can find the HFL module for a 2005 TL with a slightly different number than the original 2004 TL. The 2005 TL HFL unit P/N is 39770-SEP-A02ZA.
My question is can I use the 2005 TL HFL unit as a replacement for my original defective HFL unit in my 04 TL?
Any help would be appreciated... Thanks

Follow up on my previous entry....found and purchased a Bluetooth Module on Ebay for $146.50 (including shipping). Replaced the original in my 2004 Acura TL with this module. Bluetooth now works great -- no problems so far. The unit I installed had a manufacturing date of 9/7/05 so assume it was originally from a 05 or 06 Acura and as stated above it is now working. A lot cheaper than the $900 the dealer wanted to fix problem.

Where on ebay did you find it? Could you help me out, my HFL is inoperable and took it to the dealer and they are telling me I need a new HFL unit. For them to do it (including labor) it is $750, I would much rather get it for the $150 as you did. I have a 2005 TL w/Nav.
Thanks

If you are getting a dealer replacement, most of the cost should be just the part. The book time for the install is only 0.5 hours. It's 4 bolts and a couple wiring harnesses, not anything hard.

I just had mine replaced under warranty because the housing busted at all 4 mounting points, it took them 20 minutes tops to install it.

Just found out my module is dead and the dealer wants $1,300 plus labor for a new one. Where did you find your's on e-bay? what exactly did you search for?
