HFL/HF control voice extremely loud

If this has been addressed, my apologies. Kind of a hard thing to describe. And I didn't see anything about it in the manual, although I may have missed it.

I have adjusted the volume for the turn-by-turn down to where I would like it, but see no similar option for the HFL feedback. To clearly hear my caller/callee, I need to have the audio for the call up to higher levels. Unfortunately, this also raises the volume of the computer voice, and it's extremely loud and annoying.

Is there any way to keep the call volume portion up and the computer volume down? Thanks.

Try dropping the center channel volume down via the Navi setup pages?

That's what I did to lower the navi voice - it doesn't change the volume of the HFL voice.

turn on you phone and call a friend, as you are speaking to them turn up the call volume via the up/down buttons usually on the side of your phone. This will turn up the call volume so the calls will sound louder in the car, thus making you turn down the volume for HFL

Was anyone ever able to figure this out? My iPhone's call volume is maxed out and the HFL voice is still SOOO much louder than my callers due to the fact that I have to turn it up to near max to hear them clearly.

I would certainly like to know as well because my Iphone's volume is max'd out, and it's hard to hear people on the HFL. I have to turn up the volume on the HFL super loud, but then the HFL "computer" voice is screaming!!

The HFL voice is going to be louder in every case. I doubt there is anything you can do aside from amping the speakers.

Thats very weird something must be wrong with your cars HFL. I have an 07 Type S and my iPhone bluetooth volume is maxed but the HFL volume is only set at 11 and its plenty loud. I can make it rediculously loud if I wanted to.
