Was this from Godin Technologies as well? I'm contemplating on whether or not I should send it again or bite the bullet and buy a brand new one. I like the BT function but for $200+ for a new one, i'm not so sure.

Is your bluetooth still works after the solder reflow

my friend has an electronics shop here in Alhambra that can do the exact same thing. I got mine fixed from him and it's been working great so far. Here are some pics of the solder reflow machine it went through. He also added some flux to the pcb to help with the connections overall. I definitely recommend this method.

Is your bluetooth still works after the solder reflow? It was 2016? How is it today(2019)? Your reply will greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have been in touch with Jesse Kelly at Phantom Audio and they will reflow and make repairs to the HFL. Contact Phantom Audio it is less than $45.

Thanks for the info, the place mentioned above in my earlier post. I emailed them and they don’t do the HFL’s anymore so went to the local pick n pull this morning and got 2 more HFL’s from an 04 and 05 TL. Gonna swap them out later and see. I’ll look and see if Phantom Audio has a website to contact them later or something. Thanks again.

I had the same problem with my HFL running in the background and draining my battery. Took the plunge and replaced the whole HFL unit last year. It was worth every penny.

Was it a new one? If so, where did you get it from?

I gave up and went with a BT45-HON3 unit for less than the cost of a new OEM HFL unit and got Bluetooth audio to boot to play music from my smartphone. Works great!

Yeah I have the iSimple kit but have been wondering about the BT45 kit. Was it plug n play? Any issues with it at all? Thanks for any info I appreciate it.
