I bought a 39770-SEP-A62ZA (replacement for 2007 Acura TL Type-S HFL module) about ... 3~6 months ago. Popped that sucker in and it worked like a charm. From reports on here, I thought the replacement was better designed and should last at least while I have the car. Especially considering the original part lasted 6 years. . .

What do you know? My luck. Thing stopped working with the dreaded 'no information available' after just 2 months. I unhooked the battery multiple times. I unhooked the device multiple times. Both did nothing.

For the one and only time in my life I have searched Gmail and can find no record/receipt whatsoever of what dealer I ordered it from. Receipt surely won't be found because I moved cross country and threw lots of stuff out... I know dumb mistake but it was working perfectly, I never expected this.

What do I do? Even if I did find the receipt, does Acura offer any warranty on electronics parts at least freaking working a @#$@#$ few days after install???

If I do buy yet another one - is there a dealer that sells the part and offers a really solid warranty? I expect the next one to fry in 60 days as well, and at that point I want my money back and say F'-- it and just be really angry forever. I've not had any electrical problems with this car - battery, lights, stereo, anything but these shit ass HFL modules.
