Recently my hands free functions stopped working. My phone was previously paired and everything worked fine. Recently, when i even just press the main HF button, it just flashes the little phone icon on my dash and goes away. No beeps, no menu, no voice over. Ive tried to reset but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

 

Same thing happen to me just one day the HFL just stop working i thought maybe it was my phone but when i hit the button nothing happened. Next time i bring it in for service i will have them fix it i'm still under warranty till the end of the year, luckily.

 

Seems like everyone's HFL is going out nowadays. The module is the culprit and unless you have $600+ for the part alone from the dealer, then I suggest you try to live without it. I have an 04 and it freezes my MID and the stereo.
