i cant figure it out. it doesnt work.

i have power coming through.
where can i easily attach the rem wire?
the ground should be good.

with those three things, i should have power. but i don't. i tried to hook the rem wire to the bottom left panel in the drivers footwell to the white with red wire. that should be the accessory wire no? i can't figure it out.... nothing at all. should be so simple

anyone have any ideas? whats the color of radio wire from the drivers footwell?

 

Try hooking the remote wire to an accessory fuse in the fuse box by the drivers footwell. Thats how I hooked up mine. I think mine is hooked up to the heated seats so the amp only comes on when the key is the Acc II position. Seems to work well esp when I am cleaning my baby and don't want the amp to drain the battery. See how that works out for you. Good luck!

 

i would follow the post right above mine...look for the fuse box and attach it to a unit that you want the amp to turn on with...that's how i always install my remote if you choose not to use the actual radio remote wire...
