How do you reset the microphone level?

In a previous post I found how to go to the Nav diagnostic menu by “press and hold the Map/Guide, Menu and Cancel for about 3 seconds. After selecting “Nav” I can see a Talk function on the screen, but can’t figure out how to set it.

Thanks

You don't need to go thru and exotic, secret 'handshakes' to set the volume level, it's on the navi setup menu, on the 2nd or 3rd screen as I recall.

I believe that jime means the "microphone" level which can only be set through the diagnostic menu.

Yes, what I want to do is set the microphone level – like my “Post Title” stated.

The Nav diagnositic screen has a either Talk or Microphone (I don’t remember which) with a series of about 8 blocks below it. The screen does not respond to touching anywhere on the screen. If you press the Nav command button on the steering wheel, the blocks light up from left to right.

Now, does anyone KNOW how to set the microphone volume input level?

Thanks

Dunno.......I have no problem with people hearing me thru my v710....and I haven't messed with anything. There's nothing on your upper console blocking the microphone is there?
