Help pairing my LG DARE
Ok, now I had the same situation with my Voyager, don't remember how I got it paired but I did. Yesterday I was trying to pair my new LG Dare. I would get through the whole process, it found the phone, entered the pin, and then when it would ask me to name my phone, I would state the name and it would just disconnect and go back to the main menu. Now the phone has the HFL listed as one of the bluetooth devices. I tried to connect through the phone and the dumb bitch comes on saying you can't pair the phone from the phone. Any help would be much appreciated!

i had no issues with my Dare if anyone cares
and once it is all setup, all you need to do is hit the "Turn On" button, and the bluetooth should turn on and then it will connect to the car.

LG Dare Bluetooth Problem
I have 2006 Acura MDX and also had same problems pairing. I had successfully gotten to pair, now my problem is auto paring. My LG Dare is set to auto pair and when I start the car the LG Dare and HFL will not auto pair. I will eventually have to do a connect from LG Bluetooth menu. Any suggestions?

I have an 04TL and had no problem pairing the DARE. The first phone call worked fine except that I could not hang up via the steering wheel button. After that, it worked fine for a couple of weeks, but now when I make or receive a call, I get no sound from either the car or the phone even though the call is connected. I can dial using the HFL ("call 555-7658798") and the HFL will dial and connect the call, but no sound. If I get an incoming call, the stereo will mute and the HFL announces that I have an incoming call. If I push the answer button, it acts like the call is answered, but no sound.
I've turned the bluetooth on the phone off and back on and then reconnect with the HFL, but it still does the same thing. I have another blue tooth profile on my phone for a bluetooth headset and I noticed today when I was in my other car that it doesn't work either.

Update^^^^
I made a phone call using the HFL, got the same result: call connected but no sound from either the car or the phone. While the call was still connected, I touched the speakerphone icon and then I could talk and hear via the speakerphone. About 10 seconds into the speakerphone portion of the call, the screen changed to the "bluetooth connection lost" screen and the HFL phone icon on the car dashboard display disappeared. A few seconds later, the phone displayed the "bluetooth connecting" message and all of a sudden the speakerphone went dead and the call was now coming through the HFL speakers. Go figure.... I hung up and retried a call using HFL. Worked fine. Hung up and had someone call me. Answered the call using HFL and worked fine. I have no clue.
I did notice that in the pairing instructions for the DARE on the handsfreelink.com website, it says that the DARE is defaulted to a "fixed PIN (0000) auto-pairing option." I did not use "0000" as the PIN on the HFL, however, the phone still paired. I don't remember even having the option to enter a PIN on the phone during the pairing process, it just paired without asking for a PIN, even though the HFL PIN I entered was not "0000". I wonder if this is causing the problem?
I'll let it run a few more days and see what happens.

1. Did you use an HFL PIN of other than "0000"?
2. Did the phone ask you for a PIN during the pairing process?
3. Do you happen to have another bluetooth profile on the phone beside the HFL profile?

I have an Infiniti but am having the identical audio issues. I can place/receive calls and it connects, however no audio on the hands free. To answer nfnsquared-
1 & 2 Yes the car asked me for a pin "1234"
3 Yes I do have another profile in the car.
As a side note, there are some days where the bluetooth works perfectly. This is about 75/25 with 25% being when it does work.

FYI, just want to help some people & spread the word. There's a new firmware out for the Dare.
On the phone, go to Settings -> Phone Info -> SH/HW Version the top of the screen will say the version. (Probably VX970V03)
Take the phone into a "real" Verizon store, (not a reseller) and have them update it. Takes about 20 minutes. My version is now VX970V05 and it seems that my bluetooth issues are resolved in my FX35.
Best of luck.
