First, I must say that all of you guys on the forum are amazingly great . I learn so much by just reading. I'm a long time Acura owner from 1990 Integra to 1996 Integra to 2001 CL-S and now 2005 TL. From time to time, I have an annoying issue with Acura but overall I’m happy with all my cars. Right now, I need you guys help on this one issue. When I look up places in the navi, it always asks me to enter the city. Is there a way to have the system memorize or recognize the current location and just list places within the city? For example, if I need to look up Home Depot, I just need to know where the place is within a few miles from me, and not have to browse through a list from different state. Many thanks

 

when you do a search for home depot you can choose to sort by distance which will list the closest one to your current location.

 

Do u have ur home address saved. If not, I think you might have to save ur home address for it to keep it in memory and not have asking you for the city each time.

 

Thank you for your response. Yes, I did have have my home address program in. However, for some reason, the navi system only recognize the state I'm in but not the city.
