Help me find a new amp!

Ok so I have had my system in for a couple months now but the weak point is the amplifier. I had bought an Infinity Kappa 5 planning on getting speakers front and back running off 50 watts each and getting a sub for the 300 watt mono channel. I didn't want too get too loud just a little more spl and get better speakers and low end in. Well after reading many articles on Azine I decided to keep the rear stock just for fill and bridge the 4 channels of the Kappa to the fronts for 150 watts each. I ended up getting a Rockford Fosgate Punch P3 in a Q logic 1.5 cubic foot box and it is getting 300 watts at 2 ohms from the sub channel. Unfortunately the fronts considerably overpower the sub when I turn the volume up. I was going to attempt an IB enclosure since I got an Image Dynamics IDQ12v2 but after researching more I'm thinking for now I'm going to stay with an enclosure. Unfortunately the IDQ is dual 2 ohms and my amp is not 1 ohm stable so only way to wire it is 4 ohms which gives me 200 watts. The sub sounds great but it makes the problem of fronts drowing out the sub even worse with the lower power. I would like to change out the amp and hopefully find a single 4 channel that gives at least 100 watts to the fronts and bridged can give the IDQ around 500 watts, and can take the balanced inputs from our head unit. Price range I would like to stay within the $200 range I'm not sure if I can find any amplifier that meets my ideal goals since I haven't found anything while looking but I figured I might as well try and see if theres any suggestions out there. If not next step is seperate sub/front stage amp.

So you are still running stock components up front correct??

I would 2nd the movement to the IDq 12", without a doubt. All around better sub. As far as finding an amp that accepts balanced that has the power you're looking for...might be tough. Lemme have a look and see what could fit well

A month ago I would say pick up an MB quart amp....but now I'd say STAY AWAY! They aren't the same company anymore. They've got the power, etc...but internal build quality and longevity is lacking.

Oops I thought I had covered all bases with my first post, sorry front components are Morel Maximo 6 1/2. If anything I say at 150 watts they sound good no distortion at times it feels like if they had more power they would brighten up a bit more since it seems like they love power to actually get moving. As for the IDQ man when I had it hooked up it sounded so much nicer than the Rockford I actually could hear a bass line haha. I was wondering about your MB Quart that you had in the fs, hopefully you can figure out something to do with it. One of the reasons I loved the Kappa 5 is the acceptance if balanced inputs, if I can't find what I'm looking for I will have to change my plan, balanced inputs suck the options out it seems lol.

The onx I sold today. I believe most of these accept balanced, though you need to call or do a little searching on them

JL HD & Slash
Arc Audio
RF power
PPI
Zapco
Soundstream

The PPI p900.4 is cheap and has good numbers. Seems to be liked a lot on DIYMA. I think it has balanced inputs. Can be had for cheap.
