What? I assume you want to be able to watch dvds in a NON navi TL... you will have to replace the entire radio setup with an aftermarket player OR add a carpc.... only way to do it

its a pop out screen. when you dont want it it slides into the dash and when you want it. it will slide out and pop up. quite neat actually. (and yes i did say neat)

It would have been much easier if you had bought a TL with navi.

The only thing that comes to mind is to mount a DVD player in the glovebox or center console and then replace your rearview mirror with one that has the LCD built in or put in headrest and/or visor monitors.

Its not my car, so I'm the wrong guy to ask. From what I can tell you, they replaced the original head unit with an aftermarket one: Alpine IVA-W200. Check out lilvinnyb's thread and you can ask him/her for more details.
