Which harness on factory amp comes from the head unit?
Guys,
There are two harness going into the factory stereo on my 04 TL. A bigger gray one and a black and white one. Which one comes in from the stereo?
Thanks.

Your best bet is to pop the speakers with a "D" battery. Tape a wire to the positive tip and tape a wire to the base.
I am looking over a read out from directechs.com and it does not say the harness color just the wire colors.
First color is (+) positive and second is (-) negative. If the speaker pops, that is not the harness coming from the deck.
LF = lt. green - purple
RF = blue - red
LR = brown/white - red/yellow
RR = red/blue - yellow
Center = green/white - blue/yellow
Sub = yellow/black - lt. green/red

The Gray harness contains the wires going out to the speakers.
