Hardwire power for Kinivo Bluetooth?
Hardwire power for Kinivo Bluetooth?
Can someone give me simple instructions on how I can hardwire the power to my bluetooth Kinivo? I'm just trying to get out of plugging it in to my cig lighter adapter. Would like to have an "always on" situation when I turn the key.
Theoretically, you could cut off the cigarette adapter, and just t-tap the wires into the cigarette wire underneath the cupholders (with an in-line fuse) of course, but he problem is that the gauge of the Kinivio bluetooth power cable is extremely thin so I would worry about how long this solution would last. and "always on" won't work because your radio's AUX will be off so why bother?

Well, I was referring to always on as just "when I start the car up," the Kinovo has power.
