Hardwire Garmin...

Hardwire Garmin...

Want to hardwire Garmin nav to fuse panel and mount nav to driver's air vent.

Any suggestions which fuse to tap?
Or a better power source?

fuse 29 or 31. i have one of the add-a-fuses on fuse 31 to power my radar detector, dom's box, and ipod charger.

+1 used 31 to hardwire my radar but you can use it for your garmin

Sorry to dig this up but where did you get the add a fuse..auto-zone or something like that? Did you use another power cable or the one that came with? I don't know if I want to chop mine up or not.
