Hands Free Call Feature Delay???

I was wondering if anyone else had this same problem.

When someone calls, my car notfies me of a call.
I answer the call.
The system will switch back to the radio for about 2-3 seconds.
Then switch back to the call.

I would think when I answer the call using the HFL it would go directly to the call, not goto the radio, then back.

I was wondering if anyone had the same problems?

I believe somebody else asked this same question earlier this year, but with the search feature reportedly not working correctly, I hesitate to tell you to search. I think most of us said that we had not had this precise issue, but I know that there have been many posts over the years indicating that it's very common to have to wait a second or two before you start talking—that is, the HFL rings, you hit the button to answer, and if you don't wait a second or two, the person will not hear you speak. I assume this has something to do with the HFL having to tell the phone to put the call through to the HFL system.

Never heard of the radio coming back on except in the other post that I seem to remember from some months ago, though. A Google search prefaced with "site:tl.acurazine.com" didn't find that thread, but then I don't remember what exactly was said there.

After further searching, I've found the prior thread. Turns out it was from last month.

Ahhh that was the thread I was looking for before I posted this one. I think since the new over haul of the site, the search doesn't bring up my posts from before.

But, as far as I can tell besides that the HFL works fine, do you guys think its something worth taking into the dealer and messing with?

I had to use Google to search the site. I didn't try the site's own search feature. I remembered that I had posted in the prior thread, so I typed "site:tl.acurazine.com 1995hoo HFL" into Firefox's search box (which I have set to default to Google) and it was the third thread that appeared in the results. One of the moderators posted this method for searching somewhere on the main 3G TL board, which is how I learned about it.

If your TL is still under warranty, you might mention it the next time you take it in for servicing. From my point of view it wouldn't be worth a special trip to the dealer for something that minor, but then I also am not the biggest cell phone user.
