i also lowered the lock for the trunk lid to reduce vibration.

Take a few strips of duct-tape and put them together, then duct tape it to the back of the plate!

Cheaper than foam lol

Put something behind the license plate, use all 4 screws. I removed the carpet, deadened the trunk lid and put the carpet back. I only get rattles when it's turned way up, way past where I normally listen to it at. In fact, from the outside you can barely hear anything from my car.

On two separate occasions I've noticed LARGER subs seem to lower vibrations. I don't have an explanation but when I went to the 15s my trunk vibrated less and when I went to the 10s in the doors, the doors rattled less at the same SPL.

Put a piece of Dynomat on the back of the plate. Completely stopped mine. I have an issue with the inside of my tail light though. It rattles like a MOFO.

Remove the trunk counter-weight (behind the carpet, middle of the trunk) and 4 screws for the license plate should be all you need.

I love the setup, but something's just not quite right. Highs are harsh in some genres and bass doesn't hit as hard as I would have expected (both the 650's and the sealed sub). It's really good by most standards but I need to prioritize experimenting with x-over points and doing another RTA at some point. Just haven't had much time, and it's hot as !@#$ in Austin!
