Got Lucky on HFL Module from eBay
Got Lucky on HFL Module from eBay
The HFL on my '06 TL never worked, but I didn't want to shell out $400 on a new module.
Well, I got lucky and won one on eBay for $50 + $15 shipping "as is" - unknown if it was working or not.
When it arrived, I was irked to see it was an '04 module instead of the '06 module pictured in the ad. But before I was going to whack on the seller, I popped it into the TL, pulled and replaced fuses #7 and #10 (I think really only one of them has to be pulled, but I don't know which) and low and behold, it worked.
Prior to pulling the fuses, it DID NOT work with the MID showing the dreaded "booting" message.
