Gauge cluster and computor

Does the gauge cluster hold all the info on mileage etc. Or does the TL have another ECU that holds mileage info ?

Gauge and a few other things hold the mileage as far I know. If you are changing out the cluster because it is broken, acura can use the HDS tool to re-write the correct mileage onto it.
