I can't find two settings on my 2008 Acura TL Type S.
One is how do I change the male voice to female
Number two is is there a place to thread the Auxilary cable so I don't have it sticking out of the armrest. I'm afraid it won't last that long. I noticed in the new MDX we purchased that there's an opening for the cord to go through the armrest so you're not leaning on it.

It's sure nice to get back into a Type S again. I sold the '07 and regretted it. So, I did a lookup and found one at Open Road Acura in East Brunswick. I'm nnow ready to install those Acura Chrome look a like wheels back on with the Yokohoma tires. Problem is I don't remember what the air pressure should be with these 18" wheels on. I thought it was 40 in the front and 35psi in the back but I'm not 100% positive.

 

You can change your car's navigation voice under Setup. I forget the exact procedure but it's under "more" and you should be able to change it there. As for the AUX cables and other cords:

 

From the Setup screen (select "more"), Basic Settings and you'll have the screen pop up where you can change the keyboard layout, unit conversion, voice recognition feedback, and voice (male/female). the voice option is only there before the navigation DVD 4.62 update. If you have that version or later, you won't have an option and your navigation voice will be female.
