Fellows, I really cannot remove the back seat

I have read all of the instructions posted in this forum. I got the rear bottom seat out and the back seat is loosen on the back bottom but something is holding the top. Someone said that there are 2 bolts on the top behind the headrest but I just don't see them. Please post a picture of the bolts if you have one. My effort to replace the stock sub is at a stand still for now.

WHen you remove the headrest, you will see a small flap. Inside the flap, about 4 inches in is th screw that holds the seat to the rear deck. It is the smae size as the other screws for the seats, and you will need an extension to get to it.

^ +1 What he said... Take a flash light and have someone shine it in the hole so you can see the bolt. It's there...

Thanx! I will look tomorrow. So there is only one screw or bolt per headrest, right?

yes, there is only 1 per headrest. BUt be careful when putting it back in becuase it is hard sometimes to get the hole again. Also just as a tip so you don't start getting pissed, if the screw falls, it will fall into the trunk.

And we couldnt figure this shit out to take the seat off to do the rear suspension. Thank god i signed on did a quick search and bingo.

i would recomend using a nice socket set that dosent let the socket come off the extention easily and also you might wan tto lube it a bit becasue its going to encounter some friction from the leather seats, i would talk to your girlfriend about using spit as a natural lube... works for me every time... Bow chika wa wa..lol

You only have to loosen these bolts! Then the entire seat back will slide upwards over them.

Added to the info above... Use a 10mm socket with an extension.

Thanx for all of the help! Still could not find any bolts behind the rear headrest or inside the holes where the headrest is inserted. Gave up so I tossed in a small sub enclosure.

i will take a picture to morrow morning of it. The bolt is in there and you have to look around for it with the ratched. It took me a few tried to get it out.

ALSO do not over tighten the center bottom bolt. I did such a thing and it took 2+ of my hours to get it fixed because it broke the weld on the underside of the car. Keep in mind that you cant take the bottom out until you remove that bolt..

I would suggest never putting it back in. Center bolt didn't do that much for me...

Follow bolts C in this diagram pulled from another thread (ignore the size in the diagram, I believe they are 10mm):
