It's been discussed too many times.... Please Search, there are plenty of threads on here that discuss this...
However, I completely removed the stock sub... purchased a small vented 10" subbox and put in a spare 10" Alphasonik Sub with a monoblock amp. I got the signal from the speaker wire on the stock sub with a LOC to the amp. It's not the greatest method because of the equalizing from the factory head unit... It does it's job though, FOR NOW....

Exchange the 8 inch sub for the MTX 22 inch JACK HAMMER!! It should fit in a TL with only minor mods.
"JackHammer is the most enormous, mind-blowing subwoofer ever created. You will literally not believe it until you see it. Standing in at 23” tall, 369 pounds, and with 12,000 watt peak music power handling, you will be hard-pressed to find something that will get in the ring with this heavyweight."

for the baselink, what do you need? Just the baselink, or do you also need a line out converter. I'm a noob with custom audio systems, please help.
BTW, on PMR, they needed 8 amps to power the jackhammer
