Can't wait to get these in. Subs are AE IB15". Good IB subs are insanely cheap. Here's a link to the website:http://www.aespeakers.com/phpbb2/vie...d9da7ab6770017

Looks like they play flat from as low as 15hz all the way past 500hz. Supposedly one of the best IB subs around, I can't wait to try them out. Got to put the W6s up for sale but I have to wait just to make sure the new stuff sounds ok which I'm sure it will. Much less weight and I get my trunk back. I might end up missing the miracle box's rattle free operation and sheer efficiency.

Accidentally posted the link for the home version (8 ohm and more low end). Here's the auto version: http://www.aespeakers.com/phpbb2/vie...php?f=3&t=1647

Very nice! I have heard really good thing about those. Get your baffle sealed really well and it should be amazing. Great choice!

Any plans or prints for that box?? I just picked up a few 10" JL w3v3 and I've got the plans for a 3 cu.ft. box tuned to 33hz but I'd like to at least check out that box if it really does stop rattles.

IHC, do you mind sharing the specs/blueprints of your "miracle" box. I'm thinking of going with 2 12" w6 or possibly 2 10" w6 if i can save alot more trunk space. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Paul

How are the image dynamics holding up? They doing so well you felt you wanted more bass to balance?

Guys, please don't take this the wrong way but the plans aren't mine to share. I'm sure the originator (CSWBiggs) won't mind but let me get his permission first. I promise to do it asap.

I will really miss this box. It was so perfect in every way except for size. Its always possible I may go back.

Rockstar.... I'll get back to you tomorrow on the IDs. I'm getting a very annoyed look from the gf right now. Its the too much azine look.

Sounds good, man...
I wait for mine to go to bed, then go on.
Not really I just try and balance my time between black ops...this...and spending time with her.

They're holding up well. It's actually the opposite, I have way more bass than I can ever use. I have my JL 6 channel amp bridged on the fronts and they get louder than I can stand but my bass is still cut way back from what it's capable of. Both the mids and subs go louder than what I could ever want.

Still very happy with them and the amount of abuse they will take even full range. I'll have to see how I like them with the new setup. The bandpass plays really nice to 90hz so it takes a load off of the mids. I usually run them crossed at 85hz. Supposedly the IB15s will play much higher than that.

I had plans to buy two more of the 6.5" mids since I can easily fit them in the pocket area of the doors and it would give me about the same cone area as a single 9" but I'm going to wait and see if I need it. The tweeters in this setup sound good and they're not too bright but they are kind of loud with the supplied crossovers so they may go well with two more mids.

I'm having second thoughts on two IB15s... I just installed one of my 12W6s IB to get me through the next 3-4 weeks. I'll create a separate thread for this but let's just say the low end and output is surprising. I can't even imagine what two 15s made for this would sound like. One 12 is almost enough.

Of course not. I'm copying "Neel" on here. He had two IDQ15s but his setup is what sold me.

Seriously. They're only $120 each and I can give you a small discount too.

You've GOT to hear my W6 in this IB configuration. I don't think I would have gone with the 15s if I would have known how good a single 6 would sound IB.

I'll text you later but I think that timing belt date we talked about will work for me. It's been a month and I still have the same number lol. We could turn it into a timing belt/IB install weekend lol.
