DVD Stuck + Ongoing NAVI issues

I don't know where to start, but since doing the conversion I've been having a lot of problems.

The installation went fine. First, I got a backup camera installed and wired with the harness (Martin did all harness and IPOD conversion). That doesn't work. When I put the car in reverse, the NAVI screen just turns pitch black. Second, I tried to eject my Navi CD one day to see the version and the CD never came out and is jammed (says I don't have a CD in there during NAVI loadup). I tried using a CD to push it in just incase it was stuck and no luck. Prior to that problem, my Navigation would not allow me to put an address. When the numbers/letters are highlighted, I hit one character then all the other characters are not highlighted anymore except like 3 of them out of all. For example, I want to put 123 Main Street. I hit 1 then only E, X, Y would be highlighted while everything else is not and unclickable.

Lastly, I had Martin hook up a iPod Video conversion thing. All I need was a A/V cable that works with my iPod/iPhone/iPad. He made a switch to flip from on or off from NAVI to Video. When I switch it to Video and wanna play something off my phone, nothing shows up... just a plain dark screen.

Anyone know what the underlying issue is? Through AZ and other sites, no one has ever had an issue with Martin. The installation was fine from what I could see. The only thing I could think is the issue is the Hardware/Software. The Backup Camera is hooked up to a power source btw so is the iPod video switches and both are hooked up with the harness for the NAVI.

If anyone can help, I'd love you long time.

He says it could've possibly be a DVD unit issue. I'm going to send him it soon.
