I know that I have read stuff on this before but for the life of me multiple searches has not turned up the answer. What I'm looking for is the name and model of the JL sub-woofer that is a direct replacement for the free air 8" that comes with the 08 TL. I'm kinda sick of the lack luster bass but I'm not up for a big box install, just a quick swap with no electronics change.

Suggestions....

I'm planning to install the JL 8 w2v3. This is a nice freeair sub, but seems like it doesn't give a noticeable difference with our stock sub for those who NEED or WANT a real sub feeling...

I'll be able to answer that question once I do the install.

What I have to do is, install LOC on stock sub wiring, connect LOC on my SPL 350w AMP, connect AMP with JL 8w2v3. Dynamat NEEDED** on the rear deck...

I guess it depends on what type of base you want.
