There are literally hundreds of brands that you can choose from. A good place to start is with how much you would like to spend.

Sure there is, it's spelled D-y-n-a-u-d-i-o lol. But seriously I just throw out the most expensive brands when someone asks what's the best with no other qualifications.

I was one of the people that asked the question when I was first upgrading and even stated cost was no object thinking the most expensive speakers would be around $400. I was greeted by some outrageously expensive speakers that I could not even comprehend the cost. I'm going to go back and look for that thread. It would be funny if they were the same or cheaper than the ones I have now.

I was actually trying to think of that brand when I was listing them off. They're the foil covered ones, right?

You need to update your sig. That's some awesome equipment you just got, looking forward to your review. The great thing is your midbass has excellent midrange ability and the tweeter will play down to 2,200hz loudly without getting harsh so you have a ton of room for tuning. That midbass has better midrange than a lot of dedicated midranges and the midbass is awesome.

Yeah, $8000 for 3 car audio drivers = more money than you know what to do with. I think there's ONE guy on DIYMA running z-studio. I can't imagine someone spending this much, let alone a few hundred grand on some Focal Utopias (home audio). Audio is insane.

Sig updated! Currently figuring out how to power these bad boys so I'm amp shopping, but I'm keeping it simple. 2-way up front + single sub in the back. Adding a midrange for 3-way tacks on an extra $1000 for drivers, kick panel construction (can't do this myself), amp change, and switching from bit ten d to bitone.1. Just not worth it IMO. I might add something in the rears at a later date so I don't anger the passengers, but I'm going to start off simple.

I can ask the same question as the OP but with more details:

Good upgrade from 04 stock front speakers; preferably as plug and play as possible and under lets say a couple hundred bucks?

I think one of my front door speakers might be blown...but i know literally NOTHING about audio...this stuff boggles my mind

If you want plug-n-play speakers then you'll need to match impedance preferably. Higher efficiency is what you're looking for too

I've run BA Pro Series in my vehicles for the past 4 years. Not a single complaint.
