Does your Navi display start dim?

I have noticed that over the 9 months that I have had my TL the Navi display seems to be dim when the car first starts and then gradually gets brighter as it is left on. When I first got the car I seem to remember that it was bright when I first turned it on and didn't change. Has anyone else noticed a change in Navi brightness as it is left on? Could this behavior indicate some sort of trouble in the display?

If your in a cold climate it will. It's LCD (liquid crystal display). So in order to become more vibrant the display needs to warm up.
