I was wondering something and most of you will probably think I'm an idiot...

Does the 2004 TL with NAVI Play DVDs ?

If yes, can I burn a DVD and play it in there ?

I don't think so.... but if you can then there has to be a modification

And before someone mentions it, I know that there are other threads in this forum reffering to this very same question, but they are old threads with a lot of speculation.

So I thought I would ask again and get a straight definetive answer.

The navi player in the trunk will play only the DVDs provided by the manufacturer and indexed to the TL. The CD/DVD player in the dash will play audio DVDs, and not video. Sorry. However, for some big bucks you can put a DVD player in the car which can utilize the existing navi screen. Search and you can find gobs of info on this subject.
