Diagnostic Message Delete
Does anyone know how to delete the diagnostic messages from the Nav?
Please read this for the background -

So I have five messages (1 for each wheel and 1 for the system itself).
I read the owner's manual and it says only the dealer can delete the diagnostic messages, but I know there must be someone on AZine who knows how to get into or to the service menus to delete these.

You can easily delete the messages..
You'll need to evoke the diagnostic screen first, get in your car, turn the nav on, and hold down the "GUIDE", "MENU", and "CANCEL" buttons for about 5 seconds. The factory calibration screen will come up.
Then click on XM module, and you'll see the option to erase those messages. Believe it or not the diagnostic messages are stored in XM module.. dumb.
P.S. word of advice, be careful

TeknoKing - Thanks!
Very easy - but everything is easier when you know how to do it. I was carefull and did a little snooping around as well. Do you by chance know how to bypass or reset the PINs on the address book or home address? I bought my TL-S used and currently can't get past the prior user's PIN.
I can wait to go to the dealer, but thought if a fellow AZiner knows how to do this why not share?
Again thanks for your help.

According to the manual, remove an address book, hit hfl, say setup and then clear, follow the instruction to completely remove everything.
In regards to the HOME Pin, it says your dealer can remove the pin.

NBP04TL4ME - I have the exact same car as you and wanted to delete the diagnostic info as well. On our NAV systems follow the steps below:
Hold "Map/Guide", "Menu" and "Cancel" for 5 seconds. This will get you to the diagnostic menu. Press the XM button on the bottom right and then press the bottom button to get a screen where delete diagnostic is an option. Once you press this you get a dialog box that says "Restarting Acuralink will require activation. Are you sure?"
Anyone one know if it is the NAV code or radio code that is required to activate Acuralink?

Not sure myself. I have tried two different cell phones with differing providers and I haven't been able to get it to work. Not sure if anyone has had success with this and I haven't bothered to ask the dealer.
