dashboard lights?

ok so i noticed the other day that my pre-set radio stations got erased and so i thoght maybe the car just reset itself. then i noticed that my dashboard light setting wasn't right either... i usually have it set on maximum brightness but it was set on the highest bar in the scale they show... i always have to press maximum brightness now to get the dashboard lights the way i like them now at full power... usually it would do this automatically but now it stays dimmed and i have to manually press the max power button everytime now...

i was just wondering if anyone knew what caused this "reset" to happen and is there anyways i can fix this? im very ocd about my car and it annoys the hell outta me that i have to press that max power button everytime now. any help appreciated. thanks.

Try seat memory again with maximum dim. Seat memory is not only memory the seat position.

That's funny. I was hoping it would reset every time you start the car. I use the "max" button during the day if I use my lights when there is bad weather. Then, if the next time I start my car and it's dark out, the navi and dash lights practically blind me. I hope someone knows the answer because we could both use it!

max and the full bar are the same brightness.

When on max: the lights will be on full no matter with headlights on or off.
When full bars: the lights will be on max when the lights are off, and dim when the headlights are on.

Sounds like something that the dealer would know best about....or at least have better means to find the solution..

I'm not understanding what it is how you want the lights to behave or dim, can you clarify it a little bit?

ok, originally before this "reset", my settings for the dashboard lights stayed at maximum brightness regardless of headlights on or off, they just stayed at maximum brightness.

i want to learn how to go back to this setting so i don't have to press the max button everytime i get into the car lol xP

hope that helps?
