custom audio question
I have two 12's in a box with amp attached. is it possible to hook up the amp to the wires that run to the sub behind the back seat? or is it necessary to run wire from the dash? obviously i would have to run power cable to the battery in the front but do i have to run the audio cable also?
basically i am worried that if i take it in to an audio shop and they have to take the dash off to access the hook ups they will screw something up. so i am hoping they can wire right in to the already existing wires.
i am definitely not really experienced in the way of custom audio so hook me up with some advice. thanks

the search button is your friend https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/17-oem-cl-type-s-rims-sale-145820/
yes you can grab the signal from the sub and put it into a line output converter (LOC) you wont have to tear your dash apart

No power cable to the stock sub.
Disconnect the wires from the stock sub.
Connect them to an LOC.
Run your RCAs from the LOC to your amps
You need to run power to your amp from the battery.
You can ground the amp to a bolt in the trunk. There's one on the very back left hand side of the trunk along the rear seat area.
You also need to run a remote turn on wire for you new amp. Buy an add-a-fuse and tap into your fuse box. I forgot which fuse. Do a search to find out which one. You can run the wire along the same route as the power wire
Hope that helps

but if you want to retain good sound quality and not introduce more noise, I would suggest that you use a JL amp or an AMP that has a High voltage input so you can connect the wires from the factory sub straight to the amp without the LOC
