Does the 05 TL change radio presets according to which memory key fob is used to open the door? I tried to program a memory 2 fob last night, for a bout 2 minutes, I really had to pee and said forget it I'll do it some other time, but went out to the car today with my memory 1 fob as I always do, started the car and all of my XM radio presets are erased and the XM radio was on some channel telling me that "activation is only a call away". I was able to switch categories and then tune to my favorite station, but I am wondering if my presets were just erased, if my XM subscription is messed up or if my radio is messed up. Anyone have any thoughts?

 

Yes, each fob has individual pre-sets for the mirrors, audio and climate control as well as the driver's seat.
It sounds like you erased everything for fob 1 (instructions are on the back of each fob in tiny print as well as in the manuals).
Otherwise, perhaps a weak battery issue.
