Clock

I have an 06 tl with navi. When i start the car the clock takes atleast 5 minutes to read the right time. Does anyone else have this problem? If so how do you fix it? THanks

That's one I haven't heard of. However, the clock's time is controlled through the navi system, which gets its information from satellites. If the tint that you have is metallic, that might be the cause. If not, then the dealer is your best option.

Clock

My clock appears to be about 15 seconds fast, based on the radio beacon for the top of the hour, as well as my handheld GPS. Anyone else seen this? Just sort of annoying.

I'm just glade I'm not on your schedule!!!!!

It's interesting they're not the same. I never notice the clock was off and wouldn't care if I did for 15 seconds. I guess it's within my tolerance but wouldn't be happy if it was a minute or more off.

It's just that when you spend what we spend for these vehicles, we expect perfection and accuracy all the way around. A clock that is not accurate is sort of like a rattle.......isn't it? Both are annoying and should not be there!

Clock is synced by GPS. MMaybe you park in a garage, between tall buildings, under dense foliage or some other place were GPS signal is weak or absent.

My car clock is in sync to the second with the NIST atomic clock. Clock is set to the GPS clock.

Something cool I noticed this weekend. I took a trip that took me across a time zone. While I was driving me clock changed as a crossed the timezone. Very cool!

Curious.... how is the clock set if your car doesn't have Navi?
