thats an early pic...its still a work in progress...added some padding so it doesn't rattle and so the psp sits nice and snug... not bolted to the dash nor any holes drilled, hangs right off the a/c vent so it can be removed incase i trade it in
I knew it wasn't a joke, but I still couldn't believe it. If your going to use this middle school device, I wouldn't attach it to the dash. Just run the cables and you can sit it in your lap..............sorry but I have to agree with Warren803 thats just hidious

There’s a good chance it won’t make it to North America so soon but the Japanese will be able to get this as soon as December this year. The GPS hardware alone will cost about $50.
sorry for the second post... dam edit feature.... it seems like the mount is nestled on top of the vent blades.... 1) are you able to point them in a different direction, they appear to both be pointing down 2) are you afraid that it might break the blade on the vent...

This is no joke. there's a reason i don't want the psp sitting in my lap, safety issues, i don't wanna have to look down while changing the song, with this set up i can at least use my peripheral vision to look over the dash board. its also set up this way so for long drives, my passengers can watch movies, or since i'm on the road as much as i am commuting to school, i can nap in the car or just rela and watch a movie or listen to music in the parking lot while waiting for someone or waiting for class to start. and if that GPS program does arrive in the states for the psp IF it ever does, i'm gonna get it.
c'mon guys be easy on him, it sucks to have no nav so he just found a way to incorporate a media device to the car at a minimal expense. when i had my treo 650 i was playing music videos through the tape deck and it sounded a bit better than my ipod!
i for one think that is badass, like damn man, way to work with what you got, sure it sticks out a little, but you got games and movies, and MP3 capability, so screw all the people who dont like it, as long as you get good use out of it!

IT doesn't weigh that much, and its pretty snug in the vent so there is no chance of play to vibrate and wear out where the vane connects to the side.

OH yea, the PSP also has internet capability but works of a wifi network so it needs a wireless signal

the sidekick!!! it comes with internet and all... so you can just go on mapquest and it is easier and more comprehensive to find directions
