ok i have had my subs and amp wired to the rear sub via a line output converter and dont like the crappy bass i get so recently i decided to wire the loc up before the factory amp and run the rca's back from there did that and realized the signal before the factory amp is nowhere near strong enough so i bought a jl audio cl rlc line driver to amplify the signal and it turns out this still doesnt send a strong enough signal to the amp probably because it only amplifies to 10db


now i only want to get a better stronger signal to the subs and i have seen this audiocontrol matrix on crutchfield that looks like it would be what i need any opinion on it or what i could use

 

I was just going to subscribe to this post and hope for a good reply cause I was about to try/make the same mistake with running rca's before the oem amp to after market amp that will be in my trunk and drive all my oem speakers (the center speaker will still be drive threw the oem amp) If this helps this is a post I started that may shed some light on this topic soon

you trying to get aftermarket power to all the speaker i only have a single channel amp and i am tryin to get better sound and dont know if a line driver or a bass processor or if there are any other opinions which one would be best
