Cingular 3125 - HFL - No Signal/Battery Meter

I picked up a new phone, Cingular 3125. Nice little smart phone, same size as a RAZR.

Paired up with the TL, no problem. However, neither the battery nor signal information is sent to the MID...

Quite sad, my last phone had the signal strength, but not battery. I could live with that. No signal strength? Quite annoying.

This should solve the problem:

http://www.jetwaremobile.com/index.htm

Works great on my Cingular 8125.

Cingular 3125 - Can't Be Heard

I've got the Cingular 3125 (Star Trek) and an '06 TL w/ Navi. I finally got the phone paired - not without some help from this community - but people I call can't hear me over the in-car microphone.

Best I can tell, the phone swithes to "headset" profile once the bluetooth from the TL communicates with the phone, and for whatever reason I can't be heard. I've tried swithing the profile to normal and other settings but it doesn't seem to switch.

I do have the "Hands Free" toggle checked on the phone (Start / settings / connections/ bluetooth / menu / devices / HandsFreeLinkTM / menu / edit / next), but I've also unchecked that to see what happens, and what happens is the TL doesn't recognize the phone when I get in with the phone (Bluetooth "On").

Any ideas would be most appreciated as I really like the phone, but not as much as the car!

Cheers,
Greg

I just tried with JETware installed and unfortunately I still can't be heard. The JETware did provide me with signal strength and battery level on the TL's MID which I didn't have before, but we've still got some work to do on getting heard.

I did contact HTC's tech support group (got their number from Cingular tech support) and they say they'll work on it for me - but they didn't indicate they are aware of this problem. I'll certainly share with the group what I learn from them once the "senior tech" they assigned to this case to makes contact with me.

Thanks for the suggestion - and keep those ideas coming!

Went Back to Razr

All, I never could get the Cingular 3125 and the Acura HFL to work together - even after talking with Cingular's Tech Support (fair), HTC's tech support (worse), and Acura's HLF tech support (good). Then the 3125 started acting up and finally stopped working altogether and I traded it in for a Razr. I'll miss the e-mail but not the headaches.

Cheers,
Greg
