Has any member ever experienced the cd stopping and skipping to the next cd. This event occurs intermittently. The vehicle is still under warranty.

 

Are the disc clean?

 

Mack, first check to see if other discs skip. If not, then it's the disc, not the player in your car. Clean the underneath side really well and try again. If other discs skip too, take it to you dealership.

 

A CD Cleaning disk may also help to clean the laser lens. Get the one with the small brushes and liquid and run it through once or twice.
Also, are your disks originals or burned? DVD-A or CD? If they are burned by you, try re-burning at a slower speed. This allows the writer to burn deeper pits into the media that are more easily read by the laser.
