I have a 04 TL - with Navi and I just noticed my CD player died. Just the CD player. It won't turn on at all, even tried using the HFL to turn it on. Nothing. Everything else works fine, the XM radio, navi, tape player. Just the CD player crapped out.

I'm also just out of warranty (by about 2.5 months, but still under mileage though). The service rep said there isn't much they can do except replace the unit.

Any ideas or thoughts guys?

I would suggest calling acura and asking if they could good-will it for you

 

already asked. gotta wait until the service manager to come back from vacation. keepin my fingers crossed. any other ideas/fixes?

 

you can buy mine! PM me if this interest you. I'm guessing an 04 would have the same wire harness as a 06...

Hope for the goodwill, or buy a used one on ebay. they go for under $300..........
