hi

my dad's '04 has a remote starter installed, and it's been pretty cold outside lately.. When we try to start the car, it cranks for a second, then "gives up". I noticed that the car always seems to have a hard time starting, even in warmer temperature... Im pretty sure the problem is the battery.. I read that Acura had problems with a batch of batteries so my dad's car might just be part of that batch?

anyways, i just wanted to know if any of you had the same problem?


I guess i'll have to give the stealer a visit....

 

I haven't had any problems with the battery... but I have heard of other members with that issue.

As for as the remote start goes...how did it work in the summer/warmer months? It sounds like the "Tach" needs to be re-programmed on alarm or the "Tach" wire is loose.
