Can you preset AM/FM/ХМ for each driver?
I am pretty sure you can use Driver 1 and Driver 2 to set a different set of presets, and then they would come back when the different keyfob remote was used.
It's easy to check, though, just set one preset for driver one and then set another preset on the same button for driver 2 and see what happens. If you get the correct preset, then do the rest and let us know if I am right or wrong.

Yes this feature works for all 04-06 TLs too.
I'd say it can be a mixed blessing type of feature though as I just recently found out. I'm the primary driver of the TL and have like my radio settings in a particular way. Got fooled by the feature last Sunday when my Wife got to our car first and unlocked it with her keyfob. I proceeded to start the car and we all drove off with my key. As we're driving my kids ask for Radio Disney (setting #3) and I find it doesn't work. I check my other settings and they seemingly don't work either. I'm left looking at my Son and Wife wondering WTF happened while I went into the store to get bagels?
It turns out the car was still in driver #2 mode. My Wife has driven this car only one time previously and didn't bother doing any radio presets. It took me a few minutes to figure out what just happened, but I couldn't do anything until I stopped the car and used my keyfob to lock/unlock the car so I could get my settings back.
I'd like a MID-preference for disabling this feature or an easy way to copy/clone my driver #1 radio settings to the driver #2 mode.

Pressing the correct button on the door does not do it. I am the only driver of my car, and when I got the car last month, everything got set via key #2
The next morning, I used key #1 and everything was different, including radio presets.
I use memory seat 2 to exit, so I can tell you that using the buttons does not do it, has to be the key fob

I would say this is really dumb. OK my normal example. The last person in TL - my wife (Driver 2), she parked in garage (as usual), no door locking, so next day I came in, got in the car, started (Welcome Driver 1 message....), opps, have to press memory 1, to get my sit position back... however my audio presets, still for Driver 2... sucks! So what I have to do now, always use key fob (REMOTE), just in case. I would say by just inserting my key "Welcome Driver 1", should take care of everything.
yeah there oughta be a bypass to it as I am the only driver of the car.... it is the linking of the fob that does it so locking / unlocking ought to do it, just to refresh the driver.... seat memory buttons only move seat & mirrors, balance is determined by the linked fob... but wtfk, I am so confused by this car
Hold the lock and unlock buttons on the remote that is seldom used. That will turn off the memory link for that remote and therefor it wont change anything if it is used. That driver can then just push their number button on the door the few times they use the car to get the seat/mirror position right.
I've just experienced this problem for the first time too; wife drove car, and when I got in the unlocked car and drove away, all my radio pre-sets were gone.
I had to stop the car, get out and lock/unlock the doors to get my settings back.
Navi asks "USER 1 OR USER 2" when you look up an address, they should have the same option for AUDIO. Bonus: you'd get twice the pre-sets.
