Caller ID on the MID stopped working
Hi all,
I've posted something similar to this, but things have changed.
I have a Sony Ericsson Z600. When I first got the car, everything bluetooth-related worked perfectly.
However, for quite a few months now, caller ID has stopped working. I thought at first it was because my cellular provider had merged with another. But then I tried the system with 3 other Bluetooth cell phones with a different provider and they all didn't work.
Could it be possible that somehow even though the caller ID appears on my phone, that the provider could be responsible for not letting the caller ID pass through to the MID? Is that even a remote possibility?
I'm stumped -- anyone have any ideas? Could that part of HandsfreeLink all of a sudden be defective?

really interesting - haven't seen this -
but I would try the following (obviously if you can get access to them):
1. SonyEricsson T610/616 (previous generation of your phone)
2. any Blackberry w/ Bluetooth
3. A Motorola phone or Treo 650 (as an example of what -doesn't- display in the MID)
An excellent question is whether the HFL can be "reset"...
