BT45-HON3 problem

Have just installed the USASPEC BT45-HON3 bluetooth in my 2006 TL w/ NAV and nothing works. Blank nav screen, no touch screen functionality, no radio, no CD, nothing. I installed it exactly per instructions, hooking it in to the XM unit in trunk. Anyone else have this problem? :-(

I plan to go back and re-check my installation in the hopes that there's a bent pin or something, but frankly it's such a simple install that there's not much to go wrong. :-(

Seems to be a common theme from what I've read that some people are getting DOA units. Might try to see about a replacement. Let me know what you find out.

There's 4 mini switches on the unit. check if they are properly on/off per your configuration

Definitely try resetting your connections. Happened to me. Make sure you hear that satisfying click with each plug in :-).

Let us know if you're able to fix the problem and how you did it because I also have an 06 w/ Nav and I plan on buying the BT45 HON3 as well, so just in case I get the same problem I can fix it!

I just installed one in my 06 no navigation two weeks ago and it works fine.
Same unit is used with navi and without.

Make sure you read the instructions and it’ll work fine, make sure the switches are in the correct “up/down” position and I think you’re not supposed to use one of the cables that came with the kit
