2007 TL CD and radio problem

WHAT A RIP OFF ACURA!!! My 6 disk changer with Nav was a $2500 option when the car was new. Just out of the 3 year warranty the thing started to malfunction and Acura told me to stick it! I started with a problem of my 6 disk changer spitting out a cd upon trying to play it. Then one got stuck. The changer is constantly cycling but won't play and now the radio stations ox to are changing automatically with a loud pop every 10 seconds or so. I removed the fuse from the fusebox to attempt a reset but no luck. I understand that this is a common problem but find little resolve here other than to replace or repair it. SOme have said that they found an inexpensive replacement but haven't mentioned where they found it. Some have mentioned inexpensive repairs but have not said who repaired it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Bud just had the same exact issue with my 07 TL. Coincidentally, my car battery was also low...so when i changed the car battery, my radio started working much more consistently. Im looking at these forums because i'm still worried that there is an issue with the radio. For now it works normal again, after the battery replacement but if you know of a fix or at least the cause, that'd be great!! Thnx!

I know the OP is a year old but I had the exact same symptoms with mine until it went out with a bang and nearly blew my subs and ears. It started by being inconsistent. Sometimes it refused to play brand new store bought CDs. Sometimes CDs would get stuck. It continued until all I had left was XM.

You can get them brand new shipped for a hair over $300, in the factory Acura sealed wrapping and new code. My battery was also low back then. I replaced the radio before I replaced the battery. I think the battery makes the problem worse but what happened to mine could not be caused solely by the battery. Be ready for yours to go out completely. Mine took nearly a year from when it first started getting picky to when it went out completely.

mine just started doing this yesterday!! loud popping when I play a CD, what options do I have to fix it (2008 TL)??
should i try to reset the fuse, then replace the battery (how do I know if it's low, take a voltage reading?), then look into a full head replacement?

can't believe there are common issues like this, seems like a bad problem for a big company to have

Screen broken

I need some help with my 2008 tl. No navigation, and my screen is broken. I need help navigating through the audio controls since I can’t see them. I know if you press the tuner knob 1 time you can adjust the bass, but I need the rest. Can anyone please help!!!! Thank you!

once you hit the right knob, you can scroll through using the same knob to change the other audio settings

He can't see the screen, he needs a step by step directions for the audio controls to change the base, treble, etc.
