RESOLVED ISSUE
Here is a follow-up to my problem. I disconnected the device physically from the harness, reset dip switches, started car up with it disconnected, turned off vehicle, reconnected after setting dip switches, started up vehicle again, and it's back to normal.
As a matter of note, I don't use the AUX connection and it is without attachment to any cable, which may be the cause of the problem if AUX is selected inadverdantly as I did, and once there on AUX, it just won't go back to Bluetooth because it may need to connect to something in order to complete the selection process.
I have no idea, but I won't select AUX again
Hope this helps anyone who may have a similar issue.
