For some reason why, my 04 TL can't use the Tom Tom GPS navigator for the Treo 650, and HFL together. Its either one or the other while on. The car does recognize the Treo, but the Treo doesn't recognize the Bluetooth Tom Tom GPS antenna. Or, the Treo will recognize the Bluetooth Tom Tom GPS antenna, but the TL won't recognize the Treo. Does anyone else have this same setup and experience the same issue? Is it possible to have multiple Bluetooth devices shared in the TL, like a BT Headset, HFL, and BT GPS?

 

You are on the right track. Current bluetooth phones will only allow one bluetooth connection at a time. There are new models coming out that will allow more than one connection though. I have pretty much the same setup as you. I have a CNG Treo 650, a Pharos Bluetooth GPS, and also a TomTom Go 700.

 

I Have a similar setup and tried the same thing and was unsuccesful. I instead tried it with my Blackberry 7290 and My Motorola Razr.

Where do you guys have your tomtom gps units mounted?

 

Since I do a lot of business travel, I'm not permanently mounting the GPS antenna to the car. I will just velcro it to the dash so I can use in between cars. Thanks for the responses.

 

Like others have said, you can use one or the other, not both at once.

 

Do you guys know where I can get some Tom Tom POI's (Points of Interests) for the Treo / Tom Tom unit? I'm really interested in ATM locations.
