Broken AUX Cord in Acura TL 2006
The AUX in my Acura TL 2006 is broken, and only works at a few certain angles, meaning the cord is probably disconnected from the other end. How would i go along with accessing the other end of the aux cord?
And before you ask, the bluetooth in my car was disabled to make a cheaper fix for the AC.

What if OP doesn't realize Bluetooth in 04-08 has no impact on the ability to listen to music anyways?? Kind of confused how BT functionality has to do with AC repairs as well??
Anyways...to the OP....we need to see pics of what you are talking about since what ever you have isn't factory in the first place. Usually when a 3.5mm jack only works at certain angles, it isn't unplugged at the other end...the wires/cable is failing and the only fix is usually to replace it.

Sorry to bump this older thread, but the stock radio in my '08 TL doesn't go to Aux mode when I hit the "XM/Aux" button. It started happening 5 days ago. Normally, I can toggle through the XM channels and stop on the Aux channel.
Any recommendations?

make sure your cord is plugged in and try replacing the cord. If nothing is plugged in AUX won't show up. If it still doesn't show up it's probably a bad capacitor on the backside of the aux jax.

Thank you. To clarify further, I connect my AUX cord inside the center console where the AUX port is located, then to my audio device. So is the capacitor located somewhere on the backside or under the console? Basically I need to remove the center console? Thanks again!

I created this DIY a while ago when my aux cord was no longer showing up as 'connected' and it has worked beautifully since

I'll let you know if I was successful or not.
