2007-2008 RL's with Factory AUX ?!?
Quick question for those of you fellow RL owners out there with 07-08 RL's with the factory AUX located in center console. As it relates to the radio/head-unit, the only difference I can see is the CD/AUX button where it is just a CD button on the 2006 model. What I am wondering about is if the rear of the radio is any different and if the wire/cable that runs through the center console is the only wiring difference that adds the factory AUX input?
Goal is to get AUX in my 2006 RL with less issues as possible since the USA Specs, Isimple and some with the Grom Audio are all reporting problems/issues when used with Nav RL's. If the radio's in the 2006 and 2007 (with the AUX) are indeed the same with that being the only difference, then a used unit from a 2007 with the AUX cable may be the way to go without hurting sound quality.
