Guys;

I had an 05 TL and never had the following two problems I am having on my 07 TLS:

1. when i first get in the car and make a call, the sound doesn't transfer from my cell to the car. I either have to hit ok on the phone or redo the call.

2. when I am going above 40mph, I hear a whiney sound in the background. It gets worse when I step on the gas. Grounding issue?

Any suggestions on fixes / recalls I should talk with the dealer about? thx.

 

are u making the call from the hfl or from ur phone, if from ur phone u do the have to transfer to hfl
if from hfl then somethings wrong.

whiney noise sounds like a poor ground somewhere. id definitely take the car back to the dealer and let them check it out, and any other issues u can think of while ur there. might as well make the trip worth while

 

it happens when I make a call via the car not my phone. Yes I have a few rattles on the car so I will take it in for all of those plus this. thx.

 

I have used 3 different phones in my 07 TL Navi. Treo 700p, Treo750p, and Now HTC Touch Pro (which supports navi imports and display) just lettin people know. But as for the whinney noise, i know what you mean and I have had the BT unit replaced 3 times already to resolve that issue but it's still happening. I hear the noise when I step on Gas when using BT.
