Bluetooth phone detection problem

Has anyone has a problem with the TL not detecting their bluetooth enabled phone? I have been using my T637 without problems for a month. The past 2 days, when I get in my car (with my T637 and BT enabled), the TL doesn't detect it. Normally, if I try to turn BT off on my cellphone (while in/near thte TL), the phone won't let me . It will say "BT is busy". But the past 2 days, it just lets me. This makes me think there is a problem with the TL BT, and not my cellphone's BT.

Anyone with any ideas? I tried doing a search in the forum.. nothing.

Just a thought.. Computers..You may want to clear the settings (reboot) in the TL and pair up again from start.

how do you "reboot"? My phone won't pair anymore.. the TL won't detect it.. but, I know the bluetooth on my phone works, because I can exchange pics and such with my friend's BT phone. So, how does one test or reset the BT on teh Acura?

well, just in case anyone else has this problem....

I took out the fuse for the ECU (found in the fusebox under the hood) and put it back in. That was what I thought a "reboot" would be. NOTE: you should know your radio code. You WILL need it. After that, I ran thru phone setup and it found my phone, no problem.

Prior to the above, I tried deleting the phone profile, and re-adding/pairing it, but it wouldn't detect my phone. It timed-out (as the prompts says).

Hope this helps someone.

You should check and see if your phone is visible. You may have inadvertantly changed your Bluetooth settings and if the phone is not visible, then the car can't find it.
