I am trying to pair my iphone 6s to my 08' TL and it is pairing according to the car however the phone is giving me an error saying that it did not pair and to try again within range. I was sitting in the driver seat so range shouldn't be an issue. Anybody else have this problem?

 

Clear the HFL and try again. If it persists, you probably have a bad module and it needs to be replaced, $200 part.

 

does it work with a different phone?

 

I dont have any other way to check on a different phone...the wife and I both have iphones.

haha brain fart but I was thinking it could be an iphone pairing issue....but I'll try hers for sure.

 

Got this figured out...thanks for the help....cleared all phones and restored default settings and it paired no problem.
